Parentals Visit - Part I - Food and toes!

C

My parents met me at work in Bozeman and I gave them a tour. Picnic style lunch - moms fried chicken and macaroni salad - SO GOOD! My mom and I went and got pedicures - yummy dessert from the Bistro and a delicious mocha also included. We then spent the evening at our house sitting gig and had another amazing meal. Crab from my brother Matt and salad! Let the eating begin. It is so nice to have them here - I miss them so much! it has almost been a year since I saw them last - way - way TO long. and my momma brought me a cute little chicken too! and she made Tony and I her famous raspberry pie!

Dinner with the Todds

So much fun!!! The Todd family makes us so happy! We always love spending time with them. Shrimp and chicken tacos and lemonade - yum yum!! Making animal noises, Yahtzee and Boggle fun! Running around with the kids and taking photos made my whole weekend! We love them so much! Laine can eat a ton of food and downed a whole bunch of watermelon - hilarious how kids devour food so fast - survival with three kids around!! - The three kids remind me of my brothers and I growing up! so precious!

Dinner with Kent, Heather, Hannah and Ken

I haven't laughed so hard in awhile! Heather got poppy seed dressing everywhere - on herself that is!!! We had our wonderful friends over for dinner. I had so much fun preparing a meal...it has been a long time (since in our old house we were without a full kitchen for almost a year). I made shrimp tacos, coconut rice, salad, lemonade and fried ice cream. Tony gave them a tour of the shops and showed them out it is done:) Very fun evening!!

4th of July Weekend - Flathead and Whitefish Lake fun!!

v

o

I missed Tony like crazy - while Tony was being the wonderful husband he is - working on our house remodel (he did celebrate the 4th with some of our friends) I was shooting two weddings over the 4th of July weekend. I had one of my own on Friday and I assisted Lauren on Saturday on Flathead. It was a beautiful day and we "tried" to stay cool in the intense hot heat and sun:) We also stopped by and visited the Stanley family on the lake before arriving in Whitefish. On Sunday my dear friend Allison - (I grew up with her in Washington and was very close to her during my college years and first 2 years in Bozeman - she lived here for a few years before getting married and moving to Oregon) she is currently working and living in Polebridge, MT and came down and spent the day with us and ended up spending the night. On Monday on our way back from Whitefish we visited Lauren's aunt in Helena...and visited the Mercantile - one of the most unique gift/coffee shops I have ever seen. It was a pleasure meeting Kathe - I received her book from Jason and Molly a few birthdays ago - before I had even met Lauren. She is truly inspiring and has a wonderful spirit! It was an Awesome weekend with Lauren and Allison - we had so much fun!!!! Check out Kathe's website at http://lesagephotographics.com/
