Oh we are going to miss her, but we are so excited for her new job in New Jersey at a country school house!!! She gives Brody and me so much love and we miss her already!! BUT we really do wish her well!!!:)
Fun evening of catching up and hanging with the babies! Brody was on fire and was so talkative...he had much to catch the ladies up on:) Poor Leelee was so tired and really just wanted Brody to be tired too!!
Running for our ride after complaining about not getting one!!
Our ride! very nice man that told us to be safe in the back of his pickup
as he drove us to the put in!
mmm... cold PBR
matching bikinis not planned!
NO I did not eat this:) but sadly one small hole in the bag made this mess!
Going to Stacy's for the first time;)
A perfect summer day!! 2 of my favorite ladies, 1 Montana river, first hitch hike ride, 3 tubes, 1 PBR and some soggy trail mix! and a cheeseburger and ice cream at the end to top it off!!! Thanks ladies for making my first Madison float so dreamy!!!!
Josh and Jenny! the fast fools enjoying their beer!
Friday Night - our second run of the week:) We run for beer!! 4.5 miles done!!
Sunday afternoon - our first run of the week! Melynda and her sweet kiddos! The team minus Spooner who also ran with me!
Crossing the finish line!
almost to the finish line!
Spooner's leash getting stuck in the baby stroller wheel - Seconds Lost!!
I have wanted to do an organized run since moving from Washington. Annika and I use to run in 10K's back in our college days..some of my favorite memories working out with my little lady! Well 12 years later I am back at it. It all happened pretty randomly, but within one week I have two runs down and 7.5 miles of pavement and gravel touched! Here are some pictures of the two runs. Thanks to Jenny Pierce for being my ultra running inspiration (she is doing her first 50 mile run in a few weeks!!!) and to my new friend Melynda who has been a wonderful running partner!!! I am excited for several more runs this fall!!!
A sad time for our family as we said goodbye to Jonathan and Dale's cat Mr. Jackson.
Jackson was a ball of fur and a nice kitty too! I think my favorite story is of Dale watching Jackson play it up and seeking attention from Jonathan as he came home from work. I can't remember all of the details, but he knew who he could play it up to and get extra lovin' from!!! SO typical of those fury friends...they love us so much, but also have us wrapped around their furry little paws!! Mr. Jackson - we will miss knowing you are in your favorite closet and watching as you made your way out occasionally into the living room:) You were a nice nice kitty - thanks for giving J & D so much companionship!!
Amazing time with Carrie and Bob! Forgot to take a photo of their Airstream they are restoring- so cool :) Awesome brats and salad! Such a fun evening. Carrie held Brody into the night and kept him warm - he slept like a baby!!
