But of course we had a great time and found something to laugh about for years to come!! The ghost town was not up to our standards, but fun to see. The surrounding area was beautiful and the cemetery was very interesting. We stopped in Boulder for coffee and doughnuts and a high school kid told us about the Health Mine.
..well after a short drive we found it...purple paint - I am SO glad we decided to check it out inside because soon we were drunk off of radon..Yes, this 85' underground mine is used for medicinal purposes...it is believed that the radon cures peoples health ailments. $175 dollars later (over the course of 11 or so days) and you too can be cured of your arthritis or
fibromyalgia.

Internet during their sessions underground. Well worth a day trip to see this
fascinating facility...power of positive thinking?...or is it the radon??? It was for sure - a great day with great friends!!
