Holy cow was this night fun! Bob and Carrie treated us to a lovely dinner. Bob had this amazing idea to draw names and order drinks and dinner for that person. Bob got Tony and Tony got Bob. I got Carrie and Carrie got me:) It worked out perfectly:)

On the menu:
Tony was ordered a Scotch on the rocks and a bison tenderloin
Bob was ordered a White Russian and Ribs with a loaded backed potato
Carrie was ordered a Cosmo x 2
Meggan was ordered a Fish Bowl Margarita, Spicy Shrimp with mashed potatoes

Seriously fun game to play and at the Rib in Chop you really can't go wrong!!

Brody danced too!

What a fun time!!! A large bottle of wine was consumed and Wii Just Dance 3 was played! I worked up a sweat - awesome fun! Can't wait to play again soon:) Brody had a fun time with Puppy as previously seen on video:) and we SO enjoyed ham, cheese potatoes (holy cow good) and salad! and berry pie for dessert! Great way to start the new year off! RIGHT!!!

Brody did such an amazing job! He received lots of positive praise from his fellow passengers! He only cried once on the way back and that was because he was tired and hungry! It will get harder as he gets older I imagine once he is mobile...it will be hard to keep him from running up and down the aisles!! BUT I was most impressed by his calmness and flirting with his neighbors!!

MY FAVORITE Judy knitted sweater yet!! This one zips up from the back for easy access and the zipper is out of the babes way!! so amazing!!!

Brody and I traveled to Anacortes to spend the night with Judy and Gordi! We had an amazing dinner of lemon chicken with mushrooms and root veggies!!! SO yummy! I have been craving it ever since we returned:) already made the veggies twice! Uncle Andy drove from Bellingham to visit us and we had a nice time opening gifts and watching Brody play with the gift wrapped packages!!! Way to short of a visit, but such a good one!!!

What a fun way to start a Thanksgiving day! Jenny, her friend Emily from Colorado and I headed over the hill to Bozeman to participate in this fun run! Jenny did the 10k and Emily and I did the 5k. My goal was to not walk and I did it! It felt awesome! My dear friend Kira also partook in the fun and this was her first run ever!! Jenny took 2nd place in her division and enjoyed her ceramic goblet the rest of the day with wine!!

Happy vacation for us!! We had a fantastic, relaxing time meeting up with Jonathan and Dale in Twin Lakes, ID. So fabulous. Dale found us this great little cabin for a long weekend. Perfect spot. The leaves were beautiful and we had moments of nice weather to enjoy the lake views. Funny moment of Chloe just walking off the dock and not realizing she would have to swim!! This am a few weeks ago he really enjoyed his sweet potatoes! can't you tell??? :) I love letting him play with it - not very often, but this am it was fun to see him explore the spoon and watch him make a mess. My favorite is when he gets the look like that I interpret as "look at me - I am a big boy now"! He gets very excited and it is super cute!!!

We enjoyed a wonderful trip to Yellowstone and unfortunately I had to work a bunch during their visit - but I was thankful that Brody had lots of loving to make up for my absence of attention! Judy showed me a few tips on sketching and using water colors - really enjoyed a break from taking photos during that time and saw things from a new perspective - really really great!!!

SO SO surprised to see my brother walking up to my house yesterday! Thank you to my parents, Craig and Carol (who are visiting from Wisconsin) and Tony for keeping it a secret. I had NO idea and the timing was perfect. I had just walked up to the front room (working from home in the computer room:) )to see Brody who was waking up from a nap and to say hi to Tony who came home from work (to fix the pilot light - I thought:) ). Probably the best hug I have ever received from my bro - one of those special moments I will never forget. I have wanted to do an organized run since moving from Washington. Annika and I use to run in 10K's back in our college days..some of my favorite memories working out with my little lady! Well 12 years later I am back at it. It all happened pretty randomly, but within one week I have two runs down and 7.5 miles of pavement and gravel touched! Here are some pictures of the two runs. Thanks to Jenny Pierce for being my ultra running inspiration (she is doing her first 50 mile run in a few weeks!!!) and to my new friend Melynda who has been a wonderful running partner!!! I am excited for several more runs this fall!!!

Jackson was a ball of fur and a nice kitty too! I think my favorite story is of Dale watching Jackson play it up and seeking attention from Jonathan as he came home from work. I can't remember all of the details, but he knew who he could play it up to and get extra lovin' from!!! SO typical of those fury friends...they love us so much, but also have us wrapped around their furry little paws!! Mr. Jackson - we will miss knowing you are in your favorite closet and watching as you made your way out occasionally into the living room:) You were a nice nice kitty - thanks for giving J & D so much companionship!!

What a ride! I am officially out of shape, but not for long! This ride kicked my butt:) I had to lay down to make get the blood flow back to my head:)
It was well worth the views and I really am glad we did it!!

Brody's first time to my favorite Montana town - Butte. It was really hot out so we didn't make it for to long, but we did enjoy the nice AC in the car for a tour of uptown Butte. Tony had never been before and we found some new sites together. A very fun day!

Work-E Work-E!!! Well I feel so grateful for loving what I do:) I couldn't ask for a better gig really!!! Between photography and my full-time job in Bozeman at MercuryCSC - I am constantly challenged!! Hooray!! Staying positive as I miss being home with Brody like crazy - thankfully Tony is an amazing dad and husband!! and is making the transition easier for sure by cooking me dinners and doing the house work. There is nothing more special and heart melting for me then to see my parents with my little man. NOW I get it and I fully get it!! or am just beginning to get it:) Pretty darn amazing how much they love me and I will be forever thankful for their unconditional love towards me! I am truly one lucky girl:) and so is little Brody Cole:)
